Whether you are using our free or paid patterns, we kindly ask you to follow these guidelines to support our creative work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pattern Etiquette & Copyright<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To protect the heart and effort put into our designs, we kindly ask you to observe the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not redistribute:<\/strong> Please do not sell our patterns or make them available for download on your own blog or website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do not post charts or screenshots:<\/strong> To support our creative work, please refrain from posting screenshots or full charts of the patterns on social media or blogs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

No instructional videos:<\/strong> Sharing videos that explain the full content of the pattern on video platforms is not permitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Small Request for Your Photos:<\/strong> We love seeing your beautiful projects on social media! When posting photos of your work-in-progress, please ensure the pattern or charts are not visible in the shot.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why this matters:<\/strong> Creating these patterns takes a significant amount of time and effort. I want as many people as possible to enjoy crochetting & knitting them, but it is my wish that the patterns themselves are accessed only through my official pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of sharing screenshots, please feel free to share a link to the pattern page!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selling Finished Items<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you wish to sell items made from ATELIER mati patterns, please follow these guidelines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Small Businesses & Sellers:<\/strong> If you are selling your work as a handmade creator or crochet artist, please credit “ATELIER mati” as the designer<\/strong> in your product descriptions or on the item tags. This helps avoid confusion for your customers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Personal Use & Charity:<\/strong> You do not need to provide a credit if you are selling items at local school fundraisers (bazaars) or giving them to friends and family for a small fee to cover materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Modifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Enjoy Your Own Creative Twist!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We encourage you to get creative and make the design your own.<\/strong>
I believe that crochetting & knitting is all about personal expression. Please feel free to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Change the size<\/strong> (make it larger, smaller, longer, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Change the item type<\/strong> (turn a bag into a drawstring pouch, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Use the stitch patterns<\/strong> to create entirely different items.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Using Patterns in Classes & Workshops<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    For Classes & Knit Cafes:<\/strong> You are welcome to use our patterns in your workshops! We kindly ask that you clearly credit “ATELIER mati”<\/strong> as the designer. For the best experience, please have your students access or download the original patterns directly from our official website or shop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For Yarn Shops & Displays:<\/strong> If you display a finished sample in your shop to promote yarn sales, please include a small tag saying “Pattern by ATELIER mati”<\/strong>. You may provide printed copies to customers who purchase yarn, as long as our shop name and logo remain clearly visible on the printout. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
